Ticket stub from Game 5 of the 1972 National League Championship Series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds, held at Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati, in which Roberto Clemente played his final game. Graded VG 3 (MK) by PSA/DNA. Unbeknownst to all at the time, the fifth and final game of the NLCS would be Clemente’s last, as he died tragically in a plane crash just three months later. Clemente recorded the final hit of his career in the Pirates’ 4-3 loss, a single to center field in the first inning. The ticket stub (3.75 x 2.25 inches) displays light creases and two blue ink marks on the reverse. Opening Bid $200.
