Presented is an attractive near-complete set of 1961 Topps baseball consisting of 534 different cards (out of 587). The 1961 Topps set includes five different Mickey Mantle cards (all included here) and was Topps' first venture into the popular League Leader subset. The Most Valuable Player subset, an extremely difficult high-number run, and the rookie cards of Juan Marichal, Billy Williams, and Ron Santo also highlight this set. Condition is 31% Ex to Ex-Mt (approximately two-thirds Ex and including a few Nr/Mt), 36% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 33% lesser (mostly due to marks, most of which are white chalk marks on the reverse).
