Presented is an exceptional, ultra high-grade complete 99-card set of 1969-1970 Topps basketball entirely graded and encapsulated by PSA. This is by far the finest and highest-grade complete set of this classic issue we have ever offered! This set represents Topps' first large-scale basketball effort in more than a decade (since its first issue in 1957) and is extremely popular with collectors due to its size, design, and star selection. This classic set features all the stars of the era, including rookie cards of Hall of Famers Lew Alcindor, John Havlicek, and Walt Frazier, and stars such as Wilt Chamberlain, Jerry West, Oscar Robertson, and Elgin Baylor. This set consists of an astounding eighty-two MINT 9s, six NM-MT+ 8.5s, and eleven NM-MT 8s. This set is registered as the fourth highest-graded set on the PSA Set Registry with an impressive overall GPA of 8.77. A staggering 55 of the 99 cards are the highest-graded examples on record.
