Rarely seen complete set of 1950 Drake's Cookies cards. When this set was issued, television was still a relatively new medium. One of these "TV Baseball Series" cards was inserted in each box of Drake's Oatmeal or Jumble Cookies. Because of how they were issued (regionally, one card per box, and with cookies to kids), condition has always been a problem with Drakes in general. Condition is 13% Vg-Ex to Ex, 42% Vg, 17% Gd, and 28% lesser (including one trimmed and one with color added). Four cards have been graded and encapsulated by PSA. Keys: #5 Snider (trimmed, otherwise Vg), 6 Campanella (Fr), 11 Hodges (Vg+), 13 Doerr (Vg), 14 Spahn (Vg), 18 Furillo (EX 5), 19 Reese (Fr), 24 Berra (Vg), 25 Rizzuto (Vg+), 33 D. DiMaggio (Vg+), and 36 Slaughter (color added, otherwise Vg). Three additional graded cards: #9 Thomson (EX 5), 10 (VG 3), and 32 (GOOD 2). This is an extremely rare set! In fact, this is only the fourth complete set of 1950 Drake's Cookies that we have offered in the past 20 years!
