Graded FAIR 1.5 by PSA. Modestly graded rookie card of New York Giants Hall of Famer Willie Mays, one of the most important and famous of all 1950s bubble-gum cards. In addition to being one of the two key cards of the 1951 Bowman set, Mays is part of the scarce high-number series of the set (#253-324). The offered card has vibrant colors and a crisp image of Mays. Surface wear along the front, a surface dent along the right edge, and a few patches of light staining along the reverse contribute to the assigned grade.
