Prewar Baseball - 1930s and 1940s Cards

Graded GOOD 2 by SGC. Modestly graded example of one of the most popular of all Lou Gehrig cards and one of the most classic of all 1930s bubble-gum cards. The offered card presents beautiful colors, a focused image, and light corner wear (weaker top left). Clean reverse with bold green text. A few tiny surface indentations to the left of Gehrig's image and a paper flaw around the top-left corner along the reverse contribute to the assigned grade. This is an ideal card for the collector who wants an attractive original 1933 Goudey #160 Lou Gehrig but who is not interested in spending the many additional thousands of dollars an example in a significantly higher grade might cost. Opening Bid $10.
