In the late 1880s, Allen & Ginter issued an advertising poster for its cigarettes featuring images used to produce the 1888 N28 Allen & Ginter "World's Champions" series. Offered is a very attractive collection of nine different baseball-player cutouts which were long ago cut from an original poster. All the grades in the following condition composite are without respect to the neatness of the cut, as almost all of the cards are cut inside of the borders and would only qualify for "Authentic" if submitted for professional grading. This collection consists of the following: Anson (Fr), Bennett (Fr), Caruthers (Pr), Comiskey (Pr), Glasscock (Pr), Keefe (Pr), Kelly (Fr-Gd), Mulvey (Pr), and Ward (Fr-Gd). Total: 9 cards.
