Complete, original unopened wax box of 1985-1986 O-Pee-Chee Hockey containing forty-eight unopened wax packs. This box is particularly notable because Mario Lemieux, whose rookie card highlights the set, is featured as one of the four images of the bottom panel. This is only the fifth unopened wax box from this series that we have offered in the past 20 years! The 1985-1986 O-Pee-Chee Hockey set includes the rookie card of Hall of Famer Lemieux and many other Hall of Famers including Gretzky, MacInnis, Yzerman, and Bourque. Given the meteoric rise of high-grade rookie cards recently, including the incredible $78,000 public auction sale of a GEM MINT 10 O-Pee-Chee Lemieux in February 2021, it is hard not to consider the increased value prospects of a completely original unopened wax box of this classic issue.
