Unlined index card signed by Hall of Fame outfielder Jesse Burkett. Burkett has signed the card "Best Wishes, Jesse C. Burkett" in black ink. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the index card and graded the signature MINT 9. Like most nineteenth-century Hall of Fame players, Burkett's signature is exceedingly rare in any form. This is just the fifth Burkett signed item we have ever handled and one of only a few that we have seen at auction. Please note that a black ink signature of fellow Hall of Famer Leo Durocher is visible along the reverse, although PSA/DNA has not verified it on the slab.
