Personal check, dated August 19, 1970, signed by Hall of Fame outfielder Roberto Clemente. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the check and graded the signature GEM MINT 10. The check, drawn on the Mellon National Bank and Trust Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is made out to “Pane Webber Jackson & Curtis” for $1000.00. Signed “Roberto Clemente” in black ink along the base. The check (6.25 x 2.75 inches), which has normal bank cancellation stamps, displays a small staple hole in the upper left and the numbers "4277-1" scripted in pencil to the left of Clemente's signature; Very Good condition.
