Graded NM 7 by PSA. High-grade example of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Babe Ruth from the W560 strip-card set. W560s were intended to be cut by hand to create a playing-card deck. Ruth is the key card (along with Lou Gehrig) from among the forty-nine baseball players within the set. This is one of the few sets issued in the late 1920s, and it is from Ruth's most legendary season. This neatly cut example is bright and crisp, with strong corners, and a clean blank reverse. W560 cards are beginning to be recognized for the outstanding value they represent compared with most other vintage cards, and the offered example of Ruth would be an ideal addition to any Babe Ruth, Hall of Fame, or strip-card collection. Opening Bid $1,000.
