Presented is a rarely offered complete set of twenty-seven different Green Bay Packers premium photos issued in a leatherbound album by Walker's Cleaners (a local dry cleaner) in 1932. The set contains portrait photos (9 x 10 inches) of players from the 1931 Packers team, with Cal Hubbard being the key as he is the only person inducted into both the Baseball and Football Halls of Fame. In addition to Hubbard, the set features "Curly" Lambeau, Frank Baker, Russ Saunders, Wuert Engelmann, Hank Bruder, Waldo Don Carlos, Roger Grove, Mike Michalske, Milton Gantenbein, LaVerne Dilweg, Verne Lewellen, Red Dunn, Johnny Blood McNally, Jug Earp, Arnie Herber, Dick Stahlman, Red Sleight, Rudy Comstock, Jim Bowdoin, Hurdis McCrary, Bo Molenda, Paul Fitzgibbon, Tom Nash, Mule Wilson, Whitey Woodin, and Nate Barragar. (Please note the paper tabs that were originally included on each photo along the spine are no longer present. The short bio portion taken from the original tabs has been cut off and affixed to the reverse of each respective photo.) Condition is Vg to Vg-Ex overall. The cover to the album has broken off but still included. A extremely rare complete set of this Green Bay Packers regional issue, highlighted by two-sport Hall of Famer Cal Hubbard. Total: 27 pictures bound in a leather album. Opening Bid $1,000.
