Original news photo of Miller Huggins as manager of the New York Yankees. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. Huggins is captured standing on the steps of the dugout as he surveys the field prior to a game. This photo, which most likely dates to the early 1920s, is one of the finest images of Huggins we have ever seen. An "Underwood & Underwood" credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with Huggins' name and team written in black ink. The year "1927" is printed on the reverse as well. The photo (7-5/8 x 9-1/2 inches) displays a few light creases. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall. Opening Bid $200.
