This stylish 10K gold ring was issued to a former scout of the New York Mets in commemoration of the club's 1986 World Series Championship. The design features a single diamond mounted upon a blue stone on the front. Twenty-four smaller diamonds adorn the perimeter of the blue stone, with the lettering around the bezel reading "1986 World Champions." One shank features the recipient's last name ("Partee") and a depiction of the Mets "25 Anniversary" logo. The opposite shank features the team name "Mets," a depiction of the World Series Trophy, the team's total number of wins ("116"), and the city ("New York"). Both "10K" and the Jostens' logo are engraved on the interior band. Roy Partee was a scout for the Mets for nearly a quarter-century. He is responsible for signing a number of players over the years including Bud Harrelson, Tug McGraw, Curtis Brown, Danny Frisella, Bob Heise, Tom Robson, Don Rose, George Theodore, Ned Yost, Kelvin Chapman, Randy Johnson, La Schelle Tarver, Steve Springer, and Rick Aguilera.
