Brooklyn Dodgers regular-season ticket stub (1-3/8 x 2-3/4 inches) issued for a doubleheader against the St. Louis Cardinals on August 18, 1947, in which Jackie Robinson hit his ninth career home run. Graded VG 3 by PSA (submitted by REA). Robinson's home run, a solo shot off of Howie Pollet, occurred in the bottom of the first inning of the first game. The Dodgers defeated the Cardinals 7-6. Robinson went 1-for-3 in the game, and 1-for-2 in the second game, which was won by Brooklyn 12-3. Robinson was in his rookie season with the Dodgers in 1947, so any Dodgers ticket stubs from that historic year, especially those from home-run games, have always been highly prized by collectors. This is an outstanding mid-grade example and one that would be a welcome addition to any Brooklyn Dodgers or Jackie Robinson collection. Opening Bid $200.
