From 1984 to 1991, Topps issued a limited number of metallic baseball cards that reproduced the regular-issue card of a particular player from the respective year. The cards in this particular set are designed with materials of sterling silver and measure approximately 1-1/4 by 1-3/4 inches. Numerous stars and Hall of Famers, including Nolan Ryan, Tony Gwynn, Mark McGwire, Wade Boggs, and Andre Dawson, are featured within this 12-card set.
