Graded GOOD 2 by SGC (submitted by REA). Modestly graded example of #274 Joe DiMaggio, one of the key cards from the 1938 Goudey "Heads-Up" series. DiMaggio is not just the most valuable card in the set, it is also one of the most well known and popular of all his cards and of all 1930s bubble-gum cards. The offered card has vibrant colors, outstanding registration, honest corner wear, and centering slightly toward the bottom left. Downgraded due to a number of condition issues that include multiple spots of surface damage along the front and staining along the reverse. Despite these flaws, this is a very presentable example of one of collecting’s classic cards. Opening Bid $500.
