Prewar Baseball - 1930s and 1940s Cards

Graded VG 3 by SGC. Mid-grade example of one of the most popular of all Lou Gehrig cards and one of the classic 1930s bubble-gum cards. The offered card has vibrant colors, outstanding registration, honest corner wear, and centering slightly toward the left. The reverse has bold green text. A few tiny surface flaws along the left edge are noted strictly for accuracy. This is an ideal card for the collector who wants a visually appealing 1933 Goudey #160 Lou Gehrig but is not interested in spending the many additional thousands of dollars an example in a significantly higher grade might cost. Opening Bid $1,000.
