Collection of 158 different die-cuts from the 1921-1930 M. L. Die-Cuts set. These die-cuts, which measure approximately 2.5 x 1.25 inches, were issued in conjunction with a board game called "Major League Ball - The Indoor Baseball Game Supreme" over a period of several years. A complete game consisted of fourteen players each from sixteen teams, for a total of 224 die-cuts. A new set of label stickers could be purchased each year to update the die-cuts with new player identifications. Each die-cut features a generic player image along with an identifying label with last name, position, and team at the bottom. All 158 die-cuts in this collection are numbered at the base as well, which dates them to post-1925 according to the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards. This collection is highlighted by seventeen Hall of Famers, including Frankie Frisch, George Sisler, Bill Terry, and Pie Traynor. This collection consists of the following: Philadelphia (A.L.): Bishop, Boley, Earnshaw, Haas, Hale, Dykes, Quinn, Rommel, and Walberg.
