Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. Appealing example of Hall of Famer Walter Johnson (portrait pose) from the classic T206 White Border set featuring a desirable Sovereign 150 advertising reverse. Sovereign is an uncommon back, not in the same league as Drum or Uzit, but unusual and seen less often than Piedmont or Sweet Caporal advertising backs. This example has vibrant colors, outstanding registration, honest corner wear, and centering slightly toward the top top. The important advertising reverse is boldly printed. A few small surface abrasions along the reverse and a small crease around the bottom-left corner factor into the assigned grade.
