Official American League baseball (Cronin) signed in blue ink by twenty-three members of the 1962 World Champion New York Yankees. The signatures are those of Berra (sweet spot), Ford, Lopez, Blanchard, Clevenger, Turley, Bridges, Skowron, Coates, Boyer, Arroyo, Howard, Linz, Richardson, Bouton, Tresh, Sheldon, Reed, Terry, Daley, and Stafford. (The signatures of Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris have been deemed clubhouse versions by JSA.) This ball represents the end of an era for the Yankees, as 1962 marked the club's final World Championship of the decade.
