Presented is an extraordinary 1958 Baltimore Colts NFL Championship 14K-gold ring issued to team executive R. Bruce Livie. The front features a single inlaid diamond with two blue sapphires on either side. The lettering around the bezel reads "Baltimore Colts World Champions." Both shanks have the year ("1958") and the Colts logo, with one shank lettered "World Champions" and the opposite shank displaying the score "Colts 23 Giants 17." The engraving "LGB 14K" appears on the interior band, along with the executive's name ("R. Bruce Livie"). The 1958 NFL Championship between the New York Giants and Baltimore Colts is certainly deserving of the title "The Greatest Game Ever Played" as it was the first championship game to go into sudden-death overtime. The game ended in dramatic fashion when Colts running back Alan Ameche scored from the 1-yard line with 6:45 remaining. The ring has normal light wear commensurate with its age and use. In Excellent to Mint condition overall. Size: approximately 10. Weight: 33 grams. Opening Bid $10,000.
