Original news photo capturing eight members of the 1929 collegiate "All Star Football Squad" posing together, including Hall of Fame running back Bronco Nagurski during his college days at the University of Minnesota. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. The posed image pictures all the players in uniform as they stand together on the field. The players pictured are as follows (identified on the reverse from left to right): Lloyd Brazil (Detroit), John Cox (Colgate), Henry Anderson (Northwestern), C. H. Edwards (Brown), Jim Mooney (Georgetown), Robert Tanner (Minnesota), Bronko Nagurski (Minnesota), and Willis Glassgow (Iowa). A "Dec 21 1929" date stamp appears on the reverse. Nagurski starred for Minnesota from 1927 to 1929, earning consensus All-America honors during his 1929 senior season. The photo (8 x 10 inches) displays a few light creases and minor rippling.
