This Barry Larkin Louisville Slugger block-letter (full name) model "I13" bat dates to the 1995-1997 manufacturing period. Graded GU 8.5 by PSA/DNA. The bat, which has a handle crack, displays evidence of excellent use, including ball marks (white leather scuffs), ball-stitch impressions, cleat marks, and blue and red bat-rack streaks. The impression from a weighted batting donut is visible. The handle has been taped for enhanced grip, and a moderate coat of pine tar is present. Larkin's uniform ("11") is written on the knob in silver marker. Larkin has signed the bat in silver ink on the barrel and added his uniform number "11" below his signature. In nineteen Major League seasons, Larkin batted .295 with 2,340 hits. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012. Length: 34 inches. Weight: 32 ounces. Full LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (two corresponding stickers affixed to the barrel end). Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA (for signature only). The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot. Opening Bid $200.
