Graded VG 3 by PSA (submitted by REA). Ticket stub issued for Game 3 of the 1964 World Series between the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals held at Yankee Stadium on October 10th. This was the historic game in which Mickey Mantle hit his 16th World Series home run, breaking Babe Ruth’s longstanding record. Mantle’s home run, a solo blast in the bottom of the ninth inning, gave the Yankees a 2-1 victory. The ticket stub (3-3/8 x 2-1/4 inches) has a number of small surface scratches along the front and a strip a paper loss along the bottom edge of the reverse. Opening Bid $200.
