Ticket stub issued for Game 5 of the 1923 World Series between the New York Yankees and New York Giants held at Yankee Stadium on October 14th. Graded GOOD 2 by PSA (submitted by REA). The Yankees defeated the Giants 8-1 in Game 5. After having lost the previous two World Series to their crosstown rivals, the Yankees exacted their revenge in 1923 by defeating the Giants in six games, giving the club its first World Championship in franchise history. The ticket (4-3/16 x 2-3/16 inches) has scattered creasing and a patch of paper loss along the top-right corner of the reverse. Opening Bid $200.
