Near-complete set consisting of 717 cards (out of 726) from the 1980 Topps baseball series highlighted by an incredible 710 different signed examples. Among these are many Hall of Famers and stars, including Nolan Ryan, Rickey Henderson (rookie), Ozzie Smith, and Pete Rose. The signatures are scripted in a variety of inks. The cards range from Vg to Nr/Mt, averaging Ex, with a few exceptions. Missing the following nine cards for completion: #197, 244, 273, 282, 301, 328, 407, 424, and 513. The six checklists and #672 Mariners Future Stars are present but unsigned. For the team cards that are present, the cards are signed by the managers. Keys: #206 Strikeout Ldrs.
