This example has bright colors, outstanding registration, strong corners, and centering slightly toward the top right. As the first card in the set, the 1958 Topps #1 Ted Williams card naturally tended to gravitate to the top of a stack, exposing it to much more wear than other cards, making high-grade examples far more difficult to find than most 1958 Topps cards and most other Williams' cards.
