Hillerich & Bradsby Ted Williams store-model bat dating from the 1950s. The bat is stamped "125" in the center brand and features Williams' facsimile signature on the barrel. The knob features the model number "W188" and shows the number "4" written in black paint and the number "33" scripted in pencil. The bat, which is not cracked, has some surface scuffling on the barrel. Given the prohibitive cost of Ted Williams game-used bats, a store-model example often represents the next best alternative for those budget-conscious collectors wishing to add a vintage Williams bat to their collection. This is a very presentable example, which looks like the model Williams used during his career with the Red Sox. Length: 35 inches. Weight: 33 ounces.
