Complete, original unopened "Super" cello box of 1980 Topps baseball. The box houses twenty-four cello packs, with each pack containing twenty-eight cards, for a total of 672 cards. The 1980 Topps set includes the rookie card of Rickey Henderson, and many other Hall of Famers including Nolan Ryan, George Brett, and Ozzie Smith. All the other stars of the day are also included. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that within this box are Gem Mint cards. The store display box shows moderate shelf wear, including a piece of clear tape affixed to the top lid with the year "1980" written in black ink. All four seams are secured with clear tape, with two seams on a side panel split. The box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). A desirable unopened box from this popular 1980 baseball set! Opening Bid $500.
