Original photo taken at the third heavyweight championship fight between Muhammad Ali and Ken Norton, held on September 28, 1976, at Yankee Stadium. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. This photo captures Ali leaning on the ropes after absorbing body shots from the powerful Norton. The 1976 title bout between Ali and Norton was the third and final fight between the two, with each having earned a split decision in the previous two. Ali won the rubber match by unanimous decision to keep the title. The photo (9 x 7.5 inches), which is trimmed to its current dimensions, has light creasing and a few spots of paper residue on the reverse. In Very Good condition overall. Opening Bid $200.
