Presented is a complete, final-production uncut sheet from the 1980-1981 Topps basketball set, highlighted by the double-printed three-player rookie card of Hall of Famers Larry Bird and Magic Johnson alongside Julius Erving. This card is one of the most important of all basketball cards ever produced as it features three players named to the "50 Greatest Players in NBA History" list, two of whom appear for the first time ever on a Topps card. The sheet is arranged in eleven rows of twelve cards. The 1980-1981 Topps Basketball set is designed in trifold style so that each card features three individual player sections. An impressive visual is created by this sheet, which has retained its vibrantly bold colors. A number of small tears are visible along the top edge, extremely common on large uncut sheets like this. The important Bird/Erving/Johnson cards are situated on the bottom border. The sheet has a moisture stain on the lower-right quadrant, which has impacted one of the Bird/Magic rookie cards. Despite the aforementioned flaws, this sheet is ideal for display and would make an outstanding companion piece to a 1980-1981 Topps set or addition to any basketball or uncut-sheet collection.
