Ticket stub issued for Game 3 of the 1925 World Series held at Griffith Stadium in Washington on October 10th. Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. This is one of just two examples graded at this level with only one higher. The 1925 World Series matched the defending champion Washington Senators against the Pittsburgh Pirates. This was a historic series as it marked the first time in World Series play that a winning team overcame a three-games-to-one deficit. The club that accomplished that feat was the Pirates, who defeated Walter Johnson 9-7 in Game 7. The ticket (4-1/2 x 2-1/8 inches) has light creases and minor handling wear. Opening Bid $100.
