Ticket stub issued for Game 3 of the 1923 World Series between the New York Yankees and New York Giants held at Yankee Stadium on October 12th. Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. The Giants defeated the Yankees 1-0 in Game 3, with the only run coming on a home run by future Hall of Fame manager Casey Stengel. After having lost the previous two World Series to their crosstown rivals, the Yankees exacted their revenge in 1923 by defeating the Giants in six games, giving the club its first World Championship in franchise history. The ticket (4.25 x 2.25 inches) has moderate creases and a small piece of clear tape on the left edge. There is paper loss on the reverse along the irregular tear. Opening Bid $100.
