Ticket stub issued for Game 2 of the 1926 World Series between the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals held at Yankee Stadium on October 3rd. Encapsulated and graded GOOD 2 by PSA. The Cardinals, behind the pitching of Hall of Famer Grover Alexander, defeated the Yankees 6-2 in Game 2, which evened the Series at a game apiece. The Cardinals defeated the Yankees in seven games to capture the club’s first World Championship in franchise history. The ticket stub (2.25 x 4.25 inches), issued for a “Lower Rear Box” seat, has moderate to heavy creasing. Opening Bid $100.
