Ticket stub issued for Game 3 of the 1921 World Series between the New York Yankees and New York Giants, held on October 7th at the Polo Grounds. PSA has encapsulated the ticket stub and certified it as “Authentic.” The Giants defeated the Yankees 13-7 in Game 3, which ended with Ruth injuring his elbow and not returning for the remainder of the series. The Giants defeated the Yankees in eight games (the Series was best of nine in 1921). 1921 marked the first World Series in New York Yankees franchise history, making this a historically important ticket. The ticket stub (1-1/2 x 2-1/4 inches) has light creases and minor soling. In Very Good condition overall. Opening Bid $200.
