Official National League baseball (Giles) signed in blue ink by twenty-three members of the 1955 World Champion Brooklyn Dodgers. The twenty-three signatures are those of Robinson, Campanella, Hodges, Alston (Mgr., sweet spot), Labine, Furillo, Roebuck, Craig, Newcombe, Erskine, Howell, Hoak, Amoros, Spooner, Bessent, and Kellert. (The signatures of Duke Snider, Pee Wee Reese, Johnny Podres, Billy Loes, Russ Meyer, Rube Walker, and Jim Gilliam have been deemed clubhouse versions by PSA/DNA.) The notation "World Champions 1955" is noted on the sweet spot, and the year "1955" is written on a side panel. The ball has minor abrasions and appears to have been coated with a thin layer of protective shellac. All of the manufacturer's stampings remain bold and legible. In Very Good condition overall. This is a very pleasing example of the ultimate souvenir from the club's only World Championship while in Brooklyn. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Opening Bid $500.
