Complete, original unopened wax box of 1986 Topps football. The box houses thirty-six packs with each pack containing seventeen cards for a total of 612 cards. The 1986 Topps set features rookie cards of Hall of Famers Jerry Rice, Steve Young, Reggie White, Andre Reed, and Bruce Smith, as well as numerous other stars and Hall of Famers, including Walter Payton, Joe Montana, and Boomer Esiason. This box originated from a final-close-out case and has a black marking written on the lid. The store display box is bright and bold with moderate shelf wear, including a yellow sticker affixed to the lid. This box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). Opening Bid $1,000.
