Point-of-sale advertising store display for 1986 Donruss Baseball Trading Cards, featuring 144 original unopened wax packs and 72 "Giant-Size" packs, for a total of 216 packs. The 1986 Donruss set includes rookie cards of Fred McGriff, Jose Canseco, and Cecil Fielder, and key cards of Rose, Clemens, Ripken, and Ryan. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is the very real possibility that within these packs are Gem Mint cards. This is the first example of this advertising display that we have ever offered or seen! Due to its size and shape, as expected, the counter display (35 x 35 inches at its widest points) has some obvious flaws including creases and edge wear. Overall in remarkable condition, especially for a store advertising display of this type, the piece presents as Excellent and is perfect for display, as intended. This is an outstanding example of this seldom-seen advertising display and one that would be at home in any advanced baseball-advertising or unopened collection.
