Presented is an astounding, complete, unopened cello box of 1959 Topps baseball containing thirty-six original unopened 10-cent cello packs from the fourth series. Within this box is the presence of four packs (all pictured online) with Hall of Famers and stars showing, including Ernie Banks, Al Kaline, and Willie Mays (NL Hitting Kings card). Each cello pack houses twelve cards, for a total of 432 cards. This is an extremely rare complete unopened cello box, the first we have ever offered! The 1959 Topps baseball set is popular among collectors, and included in this series are Hall of Famers Banks, Kaline, Robin Roberts, and Hoyt Wilhelm. The display box shows moderate shelf wear, including a few creases, two small puncture holes on the lid, and split seams on both the front and back panels (repaired with clear tape). The box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). This tremendous, high-grade unopened cello box, which looks as it did when it sat on a candy-store shelf in 1959, would make an incredible addition to even the most advanced baseball or unopened-box collection. Opening Bid $25,000.
