Graded VG 3 by PSA. Ticket stub from Game 6 of the 2003 National League Championship Series between the Chicago Cubs and Florida Marlins held at Wrigley Field in Chicago. Game 6 of the 2003 NLCS was the infamous game in which fan Steve Bartman unintentionally interfered with Cubs left fielder Moises Alou in his attempt to make a catch of a foul ball down the left-field sidelines. At the time of the incident, the Cubs held a 3-0 lead in the top of the eighth inning with one out and a runner on second. More importantly, the Cubs were just five outs from reaching the World Series for the first time since 1945. As most fans are aware, after Alou failed to make the catch the Marlins erupted for eight runs in the inning and eventually won the game 8-3. The Cubs proceeded to lose Game 7 as well, extending their infamous World Series drought yet another season. 4-1/4 x 2 inches. Opening Bid $10.
