Ticket stub from Game 3 of the 1960 World Series held at Yankee Stadium on October 8th. Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. Whitey Ford threw a complete-game shutout, allowing just four hits, in the Yankees 10-0 rout of Roberto Clemente's Pittsburgh Pirates. Mickey Mantle collected four hits including a double and a two-run homer, the 14th of his World Series career. Bobby Richardson led the Yankees with six RBI's, including a 1st inning grand slam hit off Clem Labine. The Yankees would take a 2-1 series lead at the conclusion of Game 3, but Pittsburgh would ultimately go on to win the series in seven games, clinching the franchises third title, the first for Clemente. The ticket stub (4-1/4 x 2-1/2 inches) has a multiple creases visible on the front, and a small stain, and paper loss on the reverse. Opening Bid $100.
