Superb trio of scarce N146 "Actresses and Celebrities" cards issued by W. Duke, Sons & Co. with their brands of tobacco. These photographic cards can be found in three distinct types that vary slightly in size and design. Offered here are Type 1 (approximately 1-11/16 x 2-15/16 inches, Duke's Mixture Smoking Tobacco) and Type 2 (approximately 2-3/8 x 3-9/16 inches, Duke of Durham Smoking Tobacco) varieties. Each card has been graded and encapsulated by SGC. This collection consists of the following: 1) Type 1 (1 card): Robert Lincoln (VG 40). 2) Type 2 (2 cards): Chester Arthur (EX 60) and Rutherford Hayes (VG 40). Each of the cards in this collection is bright and crisp, with strong images and minor flaws. This is a very attractive collection of these scarce nineteenth-century tobacco cards. Total: 3 cards.
