Original news photograph of Wilt Chamberlain during his time at Overbrook High School in 1954. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph. Chamberlain is captured mid-stride running outside. While Chamberlain is best remembered for his feats on the basketball court, he was also a track and field superstar. A United Press Photo slug, detailing his prowess in the sport, is affixed to the reverse. A United Press Photo credit stamp is also visible along the reverse. The photograph (8-3/8 x 7-1/8 inches) has scattered creasing and a bit of corner wear (more severe along the top right and bottom right). Very Good condition. Opening Bid $300.
