Graded VG/EX 4 by SGC. Extremely desirable rookie card of Boston Celtics Hall of Famer Bill Russell from the 1957-1958 Topps set. Russell's rookie card is one of the classics of all basketball cards. This example has bright colors, a crisp image, and honest corner wear. Clean reverse. There is a surface scratch running through Russell's shoulder noted for accuracy. 1957-1958 Topps basketball is well known for production quality issues, making high-grade examples, especially of such a key card like Russell, particularly scarce and desirable. This is a very attractive mid-grade example. Opening Bid $1,000.
