Graded VG+ 3.5 by SGC. Rookie card of Boston Celtics Hall of Famer Bill Russell from the 1957-1958 Topps set. Russell's rookie card is one of the classics of all basketball cards. This example has brilliant colors, outstanding registration, and honest corner wear. Clean reverse. 1957-1958 Topps basketball is well known for production quality issues, making high-grade examples, especially of such a key card like Russell, particularly scarce and desirable. This is a strong mid-grade example. Opening Bid $1,000.
