Original photo of pitcher Charlie "Victory" Faust as a member of the New York Giants taken by noted baseball photographer Paul Thompson. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I Paul Thompson photograph by PSA/DNA. The photo captures Faust on the field during pregame warmups. Faust is most noted for being the Giants' good-luck charm and helping them win the 1911 National League pennant. Thompson's credit stamp appears on the reverse along with Faust's name noted in pencil. The photo (5 x 7 inches) has a crystal-clear image and is in Excellent condition overall. Opening Bid $100.
