Presented is an uncracked Original Maple Bat Co. (SAM) model "KB1" bat used by Ryan Braun during the 2008 season. Graded GU 9 by PSA/DNA. The bat displays evidence of outstanding use, including numerous ball marks and stitch impressions, and a moderate coat of pine tar on the taped handle. Braun's uniform number ("8") is written on the knob in silver marker. The notations "35 - 31.5 oz - 01-15-08 - KB1 - 8285" are written on the barrel end in black marker. The notations represent bat length, weight, date of manufacture, model number, and order number, respectively. Braun has signed the bat in silver marker on the barrel. The notation "Game -Used" is added below his signature. Braun enjoyed a tremendous season in 2008, finishing the year with 37 home runs, 106 RBI, and .285 average.
