Babe Ruth wristwatch complete with original plastic ball case, the instruction sheet, and retail display box. The colorful watch, manufactured by the Babe Ruth Watch Company and distributed by the Exacta Time Corporation, features Ruth's image on the facing along with his facsimile signature. The original ball case is lettered "Official Babe Ruth Wrist Watch/Sports Watch of Champions." This piece has always been highly regarded by collectors for its outstanding display value, especially when accompanied by its original plastic baseball case (which is almost always missing), and the offered example is no exception. The watch is not in working order, but is otherwise in Excellent condition. The plastic ball case has minor wear and is in Very Good to Excellent condition overall. The instruction sheet is in Good condition. The lid to the box (3 x 3 x 3 inches) became detached at some point. Fr condition. Total: 4 items (watch, case, instruction sheet, and display box).
