Official Autograph "Don Larsen League" baseball signed on a side panel by Ty Cobb in his customary green ink. In addition to simply signing the ball, Cobb has also personalized and dated it: "To Kenny from Ty Cobb 6/30/58." (Please note that the "To Kenny" has been removed but is still faintly visible.) Ty Cobb single-signed balls have always been highly prized by autograph collectors. Despite his reputation as a mean-spirited individual, Cobb was actually a very accommodating signer if given the opportunity. In his retirement years, especially as he got older, Cobb greatly enjoyed hearing from fans and it was customary for him to include a short personalization on all of the balls and photos he signed. The ball has a number of obvious condition flaws, including a small tear along a stitched-seam, several surface abrasions, and light toning throughout. In Poor condition overall.
